A General-Practice Law Office
The law office of Samuel L. Drukman, Esq., offers an expansive range of legal services that extend beyond the core practice areas of business and employment law.
For example, I am known in the Education Law community as a passionate advocate for school-age children with learning disabilities or other special needs. My ability to put together sophisticated appellate arguments has been called on by other New York law firms, for whom I have prepared winning briefs in complex and difficult cases. Finally, my law office offers a full range of transactional services, including real estate purchases, not-for-profit organization petitions to the AG’s Charities Bureau, and the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Health Care Proxies.

I advocate passionately for parents and special needs children who are struggling to receive the educational accommodations that they need to succeed in school. Having worked for academic and educational organizations before becoming an attorney, I know how institutions and schools operate. I am well-versed in the legal procedures that parents need to navigate so that their children can receive special education services.
Indeed, I have presented a lecture discussing dispute resolution procedures under the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The presentation was streamed nationwide to more than 97% positive reviews, and is still being viewed today.
In addition to advocating for students with special needs, I also represent both teachers and students in disciplinary proceedings at all levels of K-12 and post-secondary education.
I have received especially high praise from both colleagues and adversaries for my meticulous legal research and writing skills. Two New York State Supreme Court justices have offered very positive feedback, in open court, of my ability to synthesize legal concepts in plain English and to organize and present my arguments.
Over the years, my colleagues in the legal profession have hired me to prepare appellate briefs and sophisticated motion papers, and I was happy to supply them with the winning argument.
If you received an unfavorable decision in a New York Court, whether you’re the trial attorney or the client, if you need to appeal your case to a higher court, contact me without delay! Let me lend a fresh perspective to the case file, and perhaps there may still be a winning argument that is worth making.
Real Estate Transactions
A long time New Yorker, I am familiar with the dynamic trends that shape the area’s real estate market. I use my personal and professional insight to protect your interests and your wallet. Whether you need assistance with a lease or a sale of commercial or residential property, I will negotiate diligently on your behalf, handle the necessary paperwork and represent you at the closing.
Representation For Those Operating In The Food And Beverage Service Industry
Few metropolitan areas can match New York City’s breadth of restaurant, café and bar offerings – or its complex regulatory environment. If you are a business owner operating in the food and beverage service industry, I can help you navigate employment issues, compliance with Department of Health and other regulations, and represent you and your business if you are charged with a violation.
